Joanna was honoured to be asked to sing at the 60th Anniversary Celebrations for Cookham Nursery, which were held on Saturday 22nd May 2010. The event had a ’50s theme, because the nursery first opened in 1950. Numbers included Doris Day’s 1956 hit Que Sera, Sera, O Sole Mio (covered by Elvis under the title It’s Now or Never) and I Could’ve Danced All Night from the 1956 Broadway musical My Fair Lady. The nursery has been awarded an “oustanding” rating by Ofsted and continues to do a wonderful job for children in the Cookham area.
